We are looking for someone with the skills and experience to assess and design the optimum people management programme, as well as fulfil the hands-on, day to day functions required to bring that programme to life. Who you are
You’ll be someone looking for a flexible and rewarding career at a senior level, perhaps a parent returning to work. You’ll have easy access to our head office in High Wycombe, though the role can allow for part-time home working at times to suit you; you can pretty much choose your own days and hours, as long as you are able to do the job excellently. You’ll have impressive HR, L&D, OD or talent management credentials and have the creativity and intuition to assess, design and lead complex development programmes. You’ll be the sort of person who always gives their all, is willing to do the legwork as well as the leadership, and who can happily work alongside a talented group of individuals with different skills, responsibilities and ambitions. You’ll also be comfortable in the Focusrite culture, a unique mixture of laid-back professionalism, creative drive and technical brilliance. What you’ll be doing
Taking a consultative approach to assessing the requirements for development across the business, you’ll conduct training needs analysis, and either provide or arrange the relevant coaching, professional training or other development support to help our people perform at their very best. You’ll know when to outsource and when to take the lead yourself, and will be able to bring in your own creativity and experience while respecting and embracing the culture and processes of our flourishing business. You’ll also be happy to fulfil some of the administrative, functional responsibilities of the job, from holiday tracking to contracts management.
Your role will be to help employees reach their potential and raise performance through enhanced teamwork, helping to foster our culture of responsibility, excellence and pride in our work. There’s no direct line management responsibility, and you’ll be working with and supported by colleagues covering recruitment, contract law and admin, among other areas.
