This role combines the management and oversight of the entire Pan-EMEA Sales & Marketing Team with direct management of the UK Sales & Marketing Team.

Duties:

  • Manage the Pan-EMEA Senior Sales & Marketing team
  • Directly manage the UK Sales & Marketing team
  • Set and agree the annual Pan-EMEA Sales, Marketing & Opex plans with the Global Sales and Marketing Director
  • Set and agree the annual UK Sales, Marketing & Opex plan
  • Set and agree the annual UK 3rd Party Distribution Sales & Marketing plan
  • Set and agree the annual German Sales, Marketing & Opex plans with the German Sales & Marketing Manager
  • Set and agree the annual EMEA Distributor Sales, Marketing & Opex plans with the European Distribution Manager
  • Develop and maintain the European pricing strategy in both UKP and EUR with the Global Sales & Marketing Director
  • Ensure team work between all of the European teams to maximise European revenue and margin
  • Monitor progress to all European monthly, quarterly and annual sales plans taking corrective action where required
  • Accurately reforecast the Pan-EMEA business on a quarterly basis while adapting the plans to ensure they are met or exceeded
  • Ensure the Pan-EMEA business meets or exceeds agreed sales plans on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis

Skills and Experience:

  • Widely-recognised and trusted Senior Sales and Marketing leader
  • 5 years + experience managing either the UK or European Channel (or both) in a managerial role within the MI technology sector or similar
  • Strong existing relationships with major European retailers
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
  • The ability to solve problems, overcome objections and resolve conflicts quickly and efficiently
  • Accurate and effective planning and forecasting skills
  • Excellent budget management skills
  • The ability to balance the needs of the Direct to Dealer business with the International Distributor business to ensure the best result for the group
